1. Who we are
The Roxer is operated by Denise Sosa ("we", "us", "our"). For the personal data we collect through the The Roxer app, Denise Sosa acts as the data controller.
2. What we collect and why
- Device identifier. A random token generated in your browser and stored locally to remember which paid tier you have access to.
- Email address. Collected at checkout. We store it against your purchase so you can restore access on another device.
- Purchase metadata. Transaction ID, tier purchased, refund status, and timestamp.
- App settings & progress. Equipment selection, completion checkboxes, and personal notes. These live in your browser's local storage and are not sent to our servers.
- Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message so we can reply.
3. Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of contract performance (delivering the Service and managing purchases) and our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement).
4. Who we share data with
- Our payment provider — procesa pagos, gestiona reembolsos, calcula y remite impuestos cuando aplica, y emite recibos. Compartimos la información mínima necesaria.
- Hosting and database providers — used to run the app and store purchase records on our behalf. They process data only on our instructions.
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention
Purchase records are kept as long as needed to honour your access, handle refunds, and meet tax and accounting obligations. Other personal data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email

7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), database access controls, and server-side validation of paid access. No system is perfectly secure.
8. Cookies and similar storage
We use essential local storage in your browser to remember your tier, equipment, completed days, language preference, and personal notes. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including by our payment provider and hosting providers. Where transfers leave the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
10. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.

The Roxer is an independent training app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HYROX. HYROX is a trademark of its respective owners.
